Thesis Project:
The Alternative Textbook
A textbook and accompanying mobile app driven by learning styles designed for McGraw-Hill Education to help post-secondary students learn course material more effectively. The aim of the project is to improve understanding of course content in introductory neuroscience courses through more engaging and accessible course materials. Increase student access to materials through better use of mobile/smartphone (a resource that 92% of students already have access to vs. one that costs extra). The textbook was redesigned to be more infographic-heavy and the app will expand upon the content by including downloadable video and audio content for long commutes.
